Below you will find a list of links to downloads. They are hosted externally on my GoogleSites complementary website. They should return a download once you click the link. If not, try: "right-click > save target as..."

Please note, whist I make these documents and files freely available, please don't abuse that. Let me know if you want to work with the files. Many of the files contain images which are released under Creative Commons or GPL licence. In all cases, I maintain ownership over all these files. They are mine, however I do not assure the accuracy of the information contained in them. See the about page for disclaimer.

Ferns Of Ireland - Mind-Map [Download]
This is a outline mind map of most of the ferns found growing naturally in Ireland (i.e. doesn't account for people's gardens). The mind map is made with FreeMind freeware - so you'd need that programme to open/view it. This programme is freely available on the internet and available for almost any system.
The mind map is laid out based on groups (families, genera etc.) and by abundance (i.e. rare plants below frequent ones). On the left are the true ferns, whereas the right has fern allies (Horsetails and Clubmosses).

"Leafless Tree Detective Guide" - for Terryland Forest Park [Download]
This is a simple 2-page guide I made for the participants in my November "Leafless Tree Detective" nature walk. It is incomplete and designed specifically for Terryland Forest Park at that time of the year (November) - so it is likely less useful elsewhere and elsewhen.
The guide consists of one page as a key, followed by a page with brief descriptions of each of the listed trees. The guide was designed to provide an overview, but is in now way to be exhaustive.
